After an initial analysis, we designed and implemented a comprehensive BI solution based on technologies from the Microsoft Azure and Power BI ecosystem.

At the core of the solution is a data warehouse hosted in the Azure SQL database, where data is automatically loaded from Pohoda and CRM systems and other sources using the Azure Data Factory tool.
This data is cleansed in the warehouse, consolidated and unified into a single data structure – creating a Single Source of Truth.

As a result, the company leadership can rely on numbers that are accurate, up to date, and fully interconnected.

Multi-Currency, Security and Customized Management Logic

The new BI environment reflects the company’s global presence. The reports are multi-lingual and multi-currency – users can select their preferred currency, while the system automatically converts the values according to the historical CNB exchange rates.

In terms of security, the solution leverages Microsoft 365 and Row-Level Security (RLS), ensuring that each user sees only the data relevant to their role.
Access rights are automatically aligned with the organizational structure and are fully auditable.

The solution also features a built-in notification system that alerts management when selected KPIs deviate from the target values. Managers receive email notifications the moment key metrics shift – for example, when margins decline or the average order value drops.

A set of clear and interactive Power BI reports allows the company to analyse performance from multiple perspectives:

• total turnover, margin and profitability development;
• performance of individual traders, products or regions;
• trends in orders and customer behaviour;
